The Importance Of Reading New Cell Phone Reviews
Cell phones are becoming more and more powerful with each passing quarter. They are also becoming a very stylish part of our modern world, matching, blending features and style in new ways. But how can a person keep up to date with all the new models by all the companies. Motorola, Apple, Samsung, RIM/Blackberry, LG, Kyocera, Palm, Nokia, Ericsson, Sony; the list goes on and on. When it comes time to buy a New Cell Phone, how can a buyer make an informed decision? Is there a good place for New Cell Phone reviews? Or would it be better to just go into the closest store and buy whatever the salesperson is pushing?
New Cell Phone reviews of course can be found all over the Internet, and truthfully, are an important step in researching what phones are available as well as their features. Why? Because everybody has different needs. One that is great for the person who just wants to make phone calls is very different from the heavy user who spends hours on their cell phone everyday. Some people really do want or need the capability to watch television or movies on their phones, while others may think of that as an expensive and unnecessary toy.
Walking into a store with little knowledge about the features of new cell phones, or about how those features work in the real world, is an invitation to spend more money than necessary. It is also important to compare service providers. In some areas of the country, users have no choice; only a single service provider is available. But in many areas, if not most, there are many choices to choose from. Reading new cell phone reviews gives the purchaser important information about what phones are available with different providers. This can greatly affect a possible purchase. And with many providers offering multi-year contracts, the effects can be long reaching.
So, when searching for new cell phone reviews, what can a buyer expect to find? That will depend greatly on the review website. Some websites offer detailed, in-depth and hands-on reviews. They go through the features and functions, how they work, and assess them objectively, meaning they give the buyer honest information about how something works. Other cell phone review sites offer just barebones reviews, telling some of the features of the phones and going over the highpoints. This information is often taken from the manufacturers themselves and those websites act more as news outlets than review sites. Other sites can provide video reviews, showing how the features of a particular model work, how it looks in the hand, how things function; these can be especially useful to give the buyer an idea of what they look like other than by the company's high quality super-slick advertising photos.
Whatever the style of the review site, the more information that can be found before a purchase, the better. Knowing as much as possible about a several hundred-dollar purchase before buying is always preferable than buyer's remorse.

Am I wrong for feeling a little angry for some of the things my mom does (SUPER LONG)?
I'm 13 years old. My mom and I used to be very close when I was younger, but now, not so much:(
She bought both of us new cell phones, which I really appreciate her doing. Some of my friends had to pay for theirs. A few months after I had the phone, I thought I had lost it. I felt horrible because she had spent a lot of money on it and I was irresponsible. I told her I had lost it and she said she woukdn't get me a new one, I could have one when I payed the bill on it, which I thought was fair. She took away my computer and TV, too. I found it an hour later. She was still mad but not as much, so she took away the phone for the month. I haven't lost it since. Yesterday she lost her phone and she laugjed it off and got a new one that day. I don't know why but this made me a little mad!
Also, she got annoyed with me in the car because I rolled my eyes when she was talking and thought she wasn't looking. Ok, I understand her being annoyed at that. I apologized and meant it. The thing is, she took my dog and went to the park when we got home without telling me. I was panicking and didn't know where she was so I called her 10 times, no answer. I started to call my dad (my parents are divorced) and ask if I should call 911, but she came back. I asked her where she was and she said, ''the park.'' and that was the end of it. Yet when I went on a bike ride in the neighborhood with 5 other friends without telling her, she told me I was a brat and grounded me. I don't mean to sound bratty or stupid, I just feel like I'm being treated misfairly?
@Aundrea- I know she's the parent, but the kind of relationship we have I usually know exactly whete she is. When she leaves me home alone for 30-45 min. I think she could have at least answered my calls. I was just scared because she didn't even tell me she was leaving. She's 5'2 and barely 100 lbs, it wouldn't be hard for someone to attack her too, you know. Kids aren't the only ones who get abducted.
@Emmmzy- I appreciate your help, you've made a lot of good points, BUT I don't think I'm 'using the internet to complain about my parents'. I meeded some advice, so I asked for it. And you just complained about me complaining, so we all need a good vent sometimes ;) Seriously though, thanks everyone.

Samsung Galaxy SII or Sony Xperia S?
I'm looking to buy a new cell phone and I think I have narrowed the choices down to either a Samsung Galaxy SII (who I am told will drop en price once the new one comes out soon) or a Sony Xperia S (Why is the Ericson part not included here?).
They er both in a price range I can manage, have a fairly good camera and looks nice. However, I have no experience with smartphones of this kind, so I have no idea what of those two are the best.
My biggest attraction is for the Xperia because I have had a lot of Sony Ericson phones in the past and I like them, and I also like the look better than the Galaxy.
But what of these phones is the best, compared? Does anyone have any experience with either one of them, and can you tell me your opinion on it? :)
