I feel bad and embarrassed?
So today I went to an otaku shop and haven't noticed my 6th Grade classmate (I am now in 9th Grade). She was with a friend and I totally haven't observed anything until she called out my name a lot. Of course I was surprised and thought, "Who is this? I don't know her--wait!" My brain was slowly loading, I really feel like an idiot until now. I said "Hi" still with the shock of things. Then she asked for my cellphone number and I told yes with a clear hesitation on my face due to the suddenness. I asked where she was studying now and blah blah then I totally forgot to give my number! It looked like she rushed and said "Ok, see you. Just next time!" What did she mean by that? I still feel embarrassed because it looked like I pushed some wrong buttons with my brain and feeling bad that in the end, I did not give my number to a friend. Well I recall being overly quiet back then, so maybe that's the reason she changed her mind?
Did I do something wrong? Or just say I'm too stupid and slow, maybe I'll feel better :( I am normally not this overreacting and let things flow its way but now I feel like a mean and insensitive person pffft.

is it just me or are kids growing up too fast?
i have this cousin who is 12 and in 7th grade and i find that she is growing up wayy too fast! i mean like she got a cellphone when she was 10 and she got the one she liked and she has a new phone like every month. she tells me to text her cuz i dont live near her and i dont want to text her, and i dont even want her to have a cell phone she is too young! she also had a choice for an iphone or blackberry but she wants to wait till the iphone 5 comes out and then when it comes out her parents will buy it for her and like shes only 12 who needs an iphone when their 12? but its not just her ppl in her class have blackberries and iPhone too! she also wore fashion boots when she was 6 and they had little heels on them i remember thinking what the hell is she wearing! now she wears short shorts and i meant short ones that like barley cover her butt and she also wears crop tops, tank tops, over the shoulder tops, sleeveless shirts, and mini skirts too! she also wears eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara, also foundation. she also watches secret life of an american teenager, make it or break it, American dad, family guy, Simpson's, gossip girls, switched at birth, ect, and she also has facebook too! and the sad part of all of this is that her parents let her do all this!! and the ppl in her class does all this too!
but my point is are kids growing up too fast or is it just me?

is it legal to stab somebody for self defense?
So theres this guy who attacked my friend while she was walking home. I don't know him i just know that he lives at a halfway house on my street(i live in saginaw MI go figure we'd have a house from ex convicts on a street of children fffff) But i mean i walk alot and especially to her house so i pass that place about twice a day. if he were to attack me as well is it legal enough for me to stab him? cuz im a girl and im not the strongest person ever and i dont have a cellphone for a while. i just want to know if its okay to stba someone in an order of self defense. I cant really go to the cops necessarily because she doesnt remember what he looks like besides he's black/dark and about 4 maybe 5 inches taller than i am.
